Bread Ahead Wembley – Review

Bread Ahead Wembley – Review

Starting out in Borough Market in 2013 Bread Ahead, one of London’s favourite bakeries, is now expanding its bakery and baking school into Wembley, alongside an all-day dining cafe, a rotisserie, and a pizza restaurant. The menu is simple but refined, with dishes such as Burrata with Charred Beets, Panzanella Salad, followed by a choice of mains such as Rotisserie Chicken and two simple but exquisite pizzas; Margherita and N’Duja.

For those who are still not full from the generous portion sizes the restaurant offers the desserts are far from simple, including their well-known Pistachio Donuts and Sticky Toffee Pudding. Drinks are a modest but tasteful collection of beers and wines as well as some spirits.

The bakery school upstairs boasts of two large glass-fronted classrooms overlooking the main dining hall and runs a large number of popular classes, such as; Scandinavian Baking Workshops, Flatbread Workshops, Italian Baking workshops, as well as a couple of seasonal favourites such as a Mince Pie Workshop, Christmas Gingerbread Decoration Workshop, and more.

The venue can house up to 220 people, which helps with the crowds Wembley Stadium, which is located very near, offers, and the new Bread Ahead location definitely comes the equipment to feed all these people. All in all, whether you’re visiting the area for unrelated reasons, want to have a pretty large dinner party, or wish to try your hand at Italian Baking, Bread Ahead Wembley is definitely worth a visit.
