Xbox Lights Up London with Power Your Dreams: A Mesmerising Free Experience for Gamers
As the city of London prepares for the festive season, a beacon of neon green cuts through the winter chill, drawing gaming fans to a one-of-a-kind event that’s all about powering dreams. Xbox has unveiled its latest adventure for the senses, the Power Your Dreams immersive experience, nestled in the heart of the city.
I visited to experience it for ourselves and I was not disappointed. In fact the bed led on was more comfortable than the one in the hotel room. I came out feeling relaxed and the opposite of being in the centre of London. The Outernet experience was also amazing (see below), and worth going to Tottenham Court Road on its own. As was the ability to sit in a sound proof room and play the latest version of Cyberpunk 2077 on the Xbox Series X.

From 28th November to 2nd December, the Power Your Dreams event offers a sanctuary for those looking to unwind from the Christmas shopping frenzy. Imagine stepping into a realm where the lines between dreams and reality blur, where the pulse of gaming beats in sync with the imagination, all powered by the might of the Xbox Series X, the world’s most powerful console, though not the most popular.
The Inspiration Behind Power your dreams
Curated by dream psychologist, Dr Ian Wallace, and inspired by blockbuster titles like Starfield, Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2, and Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty, the event promises to be a sensorial symphony. Each 15-minute session is intricately designed to cradle you in ambiance, wrap you in stunning visuals, and immerse you in soundscapes that resonate with the heart of gaming.
Exclusive Gaming Pods and Popular Titles
Post the dream session, attendees get an exclusive chance to engage with fan favourites like Halo Infinite and Forza Motorsport within the confines of custom-crafted gaming pods.
Event Details and How to Attend
Outernet London, located at Charing Cross Rd, London WC2H 8LH. Open from 12:00 on the 28th and from 10am till late until 2nd December, it ensures that everyone has a chance to delve into this dreamlike state for 15 minutes. Just make sure you put enough time aside to try out those gaming pods before the Christmas shopping starts again.
