Leadenhall Market announces a free pop-up Corgi photo studio and Royal walks to celebrate the Jubilee

Referred to by HRH herself as ‘family,’ the Queen has had her own Corgis since she was just 18. Now, Royal fans can recreate some of those tender moments, by heading to Leadenhall Market’s Corgi Cam pop-up photo studio, where they can snap some pics with a real-life Corgi to celebrate the Jubilee.

With beautiful backdrops, a cosy sofa set up and regal costumes – including a multitude of hats and tiaras fit for a Queen – the Corgi Cam pop-up will be at the Victorian market on Wednesday 1st June from 12-6pm. Free of charge and with no booking needed, the Corgi Cam pop-up is open to all, giving people who may not have their own dog the opportunity to strike a Jubilee pose with one of the most regal pooches of all!

Once the Corgi Cam closes, visitors can delve deeper into the pomp & pageantry associated with monarchy past & present in the historical market, with a limited-edition walking tour.

Taking place every Wednesday throughout June from 6.30-8pm, hear about Leadenhall’s early links with the monarchy of the 12th century when it became an established market, the evolution and changes in and around Leadenhall Market and the City over the last 70 years, the Queens’ links with the development of the iconic “Eastern Cluster” of financial services towers that overlook Leadenhall market and more. Tickets are priced at just £7 per person (plus booking fee) and can be booked on Eventbrite.

In addition to these events, the market’s 35 boutique shops, restaurants and bars will continue to be open (check with individual outlets for opening times) and the alleyways will be bursting with Jubilee décor – from royal purple crown bunting to quintessentially themed flowers.
