Immersive dining at Pedley Street: Sell your soul for a Journey To The Underworld

Immersive dining at Pedley Street: Sell your soul for a Journey To The Underworld

In case you were ever curious what it is like to sell your soul and board a train straight to hell (I mean, aren’t we all just a bit curious?), you now have a chance to do exactly that and venture into the underworld, and in style, in another great immersive dining experience by the masters of interactive dining, Funicular.

Initially, when arriving at the venue you can enjoy a nice drink at the ambient 7 Sins Bar before departing on your journey. Once aboard a luxury Orient Express train to Hell you get to enjoy a four-course meal curated by MasterChef: The Professionals finalist Louisa Ellis, who is dedicated to her art even on a train to hell, as you descend further and further into the depths. After an amuse-bouche of butternut squash veloute, the starter is a combination of black gnocchi, mushrooms and truffle, followed by a guinea fowl breast with potato and leek covered in a mustard sauce, and finishing with a chocolate ganache with honey ice cream dessert. Vegan options were also available. The production comes with a fine selection of wine and cocktails for all tastes available throughout the night, which go well with the story you are there to see.

It is a perfect experience around the Halloween season including a great combination of food, drink, a dark romantic storyline and some bonus raunchy dancing. As expected from a Funicular production, the acting part of the immersive dining is great with the usual amount of audience interaction, and I’d love to tell more, however that would just provide unnecessary spoilers to your experience.
