Just a few minutes walk from Farringdon Station The Duck Nest, a brand new Gascon inspired cocktail bar, is situated on the top floor of London’s only duck restaurant; Monsieur Le Duck.
When you walk in you instantly realise it is not just a normal bar, you feel like you’re being transported back in time; the setting is an intimate style of a 20th century boudoir, with low mood lighting and tasteful furniture. It has it all; Art Nouveau, French Jazz, and well-bodied cocktails – what’s there not to like? The cocktails fit the theme, with names such as Le Raconteur, L’Aristocrat, and Creme de Citron, and come with an equally classy presentation. To top it off, the bar staff are efficient and helpful, and if the extensive cocktail menu doesn’t suit your mood for the evening, their wine menu also does not disappoint, with wine from all the major regions in France.
Plus for the adventurous, you can even try their duck fat washed Armagnac!
The bar is open to the public on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays and is a great place to unwind after a long week at work or take someone on a date. For bookings or more information go to:
