Dexters – ‘Recover’ Single out this Monday

Dexters – ‘Recover’ Single out this Monday

Nope Dexter from the American serial killer series hasn’t started a band, you should be pleased to hear.

This Monday the charmingly rough and ready East London band Dexters release ‘Recover’, a week before the release of their debut album ‘Shimmer Gold’, out March 17th. Which can apparently boast Abby Clancy, Peter Crouch and Serge Pizzorno of Kasabian as fans and have been hotly tipped by Q, NME, Xfm.

Turns out they home made the ‘Recover’ video by crashing the frontman’s parents house while they were away and had the full video made on their friends’ phones.

Tom Rowlett on the Recover video: “When we were doing the Recover video, doing it home made was the only option. You gotta do it yourself, you can’t wait around. Had a bash in my mum’s living room while she was away – invited some friends around, played the gig – got everyone to film it on their mobiles and just put it together from that. Got a sound complaint from the council – sign of a good party”

Well Tom where was our invite huh? Hope you cleaned up and you actually make some money so you can sort your mums place out!

So if you like the music or just feel sorry for Toms mum, you can get the ‘Recover’ single on Monday (10th) and the album the week after (17th)
