June 27 is International Pineapple Day, and to celebrate, Hawkes – London’s first urban cidery – is having a Pineapple Punch party weekend!
With a gloomy weekend forecast, what better way to rebel against the unpredictability of the British summer by visiting Hawkes’ Bermondsey-based Cidery and Taproom (86-92 Druid St, London SE1 2HQ) to try the cider brand’s tropical, zingy and offbeat Pineapple Punch (by the pint, as a slushie or in a cocktail), add pineapple pizazz to any pizza on the menu, and enjoy an all-out tropical pineapple party vibe?!
Celebrations will be held from 4-11 pm on Friday 24 and 12-11pm on Saturday 25 and Sunday 26.
You can enjoy the party weekend free of charge, but make sure you don’t get left out by reserving a table, as Hawkes’ ‘internal forecast’ predicts a very busy fun weekend.
London’s first urban Cidery, Hawkes turns unloved, ‘wonky’, or surplus apples into delicious real-apple cider and is on a mission to dispel the misconceptions around cider by injecting personality and modernising the product, offering vibrant, fresh and flavourful ciders that will appeal to cider connoisseurs and cider newbies alike.
