Machine No. 3 – New Bar opening in Hackney 6th November
Last night I visited Machine No. 3 on Well Street in Hackney, the soon to be opened new bar from the people behind The Three Compasses. The name comes from the rather intriguing setting of the bar – a dilapidated old laundrette on the corner of Well Street which they have transformed into a cocktail focussed bar, with the added bonus of offering expertly picked craft beer, locally sourced cheese boards and charcuterie, as well as bio-dynamic and organic wines.
Check back for a full review soon, but my first thoughts: A relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff. I recommend The Long Hello and Tommy’s Margarita cocktails, plus a live DJ and music you can dance to.
So if you’re free this Friday night and want to try something new, checkout Machine No. 3 which will be officially opening its doors from 6pm on Friday 6th November with 50% off drinks all night long until 10pm. (Not sure if that’s all drinks or just cocktails, so best to ask when you order) You’ll also get to try delicious pints of pale ale served up by brand new Dalston brewery ’40FT’. Plus an extra treat, as local London distiller Alex Kammering is supplying some of the much-lauded Kamm & Sons to feature in a cocktail specially created for the launch.
