Taste Mauritius – Beach to Balham Pop Up – 20th September
We love Yummy Choo, she introduced us to Mauritian food and if we were rich we’d invest in a Taste Mauritius restaurant and probably eat there most days. Yummy Choo was also one of our first ever Pop Up Interviews, for what was then London Life UK and it’s not just us that have gone through a name change since then, as it’s now called ‘Taste Mauritius, by Yummy Choo’. Sadly we’ve not had the pleasure of Selina’s cooking recently, the last time being at the excellent The Flavour Expats Pop Up Series, run by the amazing Backdoor Kitchen.

Taste Mauritius promises an evening of sunshine fusion cuisine at Balham’s Nightingale Cafe and promises to transport you to the beaches of Mauritius from Balham. Join them for a tropical evening, with some sega music in the background to the set the mood, delicious punch, authentic Mauritian food and decadent desserts!
